How I work

The work is technical.
The responsibility is broader.

I began as a developer and independent freelancer. Over more than ten years, the work has expanded into understanding businesses, shaping products, choosing technical directions, coordinating teams, and remaining accountable after launch.

I bring technical judgment and an understanding of the client’s priorities. Our designers and engineers bring their own expertise to the decisions and implementation. I keep the context clear between client and team as we work through the problem together.

Communicate before people need to chase

I do not think clients should have to keep asking where something stands. When circumstances change, the communication should change with them.

Address difficult questions while options remain

I would rather surface an uncomfortable constraint early than allow it to become an expensive surprise.

Use technology for a reason

The newest architecture is not automatically the right one. Cost, team capability, maintenance, product lifetime, and operational burden all matter.

Understand the problem beneath the request

The requested feature is not always the actual need. Some of the most valuable work happens before implementation begins.

Give people clarity and credit

I bring the client context and technical perspective. Our team brings its own judgment and expertise to the solution. Good work depends on both, and the credit should reflect that.
