How it started.

Avea, a Swiss longevity brand, wanted to publish serious long-form content in more than one language. The team was lean, and they did not want to wait on a developer for every article.

The calls that mattered.

  • The call

Start from how the editors work

The platform was shaped around Avea’s editorial process rather than a theme, so publishing would feel natural to the team from day one.

  • The call

Put publishing in the team’s hands

Every article goes live without a developer. That keeps the team fast and the running costs predictable.

  • The call

Choose what the team can run

WordPress, structured for long-form content and more than one language. Chosen because Avea could run it, not because it was new.

What happened.

Avea’s team publishes on its own. We have built and looked after the website and the Insights hub for the past couple of years.

Requests get handled quickly, problems get solved without fuss, and I have never had to chase him on anything.

How it was built

My team designed and built the custom theme, the editorial workflow and the integrations, and keeps the platform fast as it grows.
